Before I start weaving I create my designs using an Excel spreadsheet or a weaving software package. Once the design is completed, I convert the design into an actual plan which can be implemented on the loom. 

I weave using a combination of hand dyed natural wool and alpaca yarn from the animals I raised
on the farm in addition to cotton, tencel, and silk.

The final piece is enhanced by including additional touches such as hemstitching, fringing, and washing when creating blankets, rugs, tapestries, and scarves.
